Walter’s Portfolio Walter Vanderhaegen PORTFOLIO Born in January 1942. Was attracted to graphical arts and photography from an early age. Got the opportunity to illustrate some articles after schooling in the photo-lab of a news magazine. Joined the Belgian Press Agency, Photo News Service, in 1962. Worked in Paris  for “Les Reporters Associés” . This agency would split into the well known GAMMA and SYGMA agencies. Back in Brussels became head of the staff photographers of PNS. Starts his own Photo-bureau in 1971. Becomes the founder-president of Vanderhaegen Bvba. Specializes in Defence and Corporate image.  Worked on major assignments throughout the world.
